HELP THE HOMELESS
It’s no secret that Scotland is currently experiencing a homeless crisis, with thousands of people sleeping rough every night. Any loose change you have is always welcome, as are hot drinks, food and blankets. Many homeless people say that the worst part is feeling invisible, so if you have time, why not stop and chat to someone? You never know what could happen, and you’d definitely #MakeSomeonesDay
PHONE A FRIEND
Why not phone a friend or family member you’ve not spoken to in a while? Life is busy and sometimes it’s hard to keep in touch with the people we care about, but today is the perfect day to reach out and catch up with someone you’ve not chatted with in a long time.
SHOW SOMEONE YOU CARE
Sometimes, it’s those nearest and dearest to us that bear the brunt of our stress, sadness and anger. Take the time today to show your husband, wife, boyfriend, girlfriend, partner, child, parent or relative how much you appreciate them. It doesn’t have to be much – make them a cup of tea or make them a packed lunch for work. A hand written card is always a good idea.
