Celebrating 100 years of The IRN-BRU Carnival

Europe’s largest indoor funfair returns, and this year will be the biggest yet as The IRN-BRU Carnival celebrates 100 years of festive fun! The Carnival will be packed full of more family rides, thrill rides, and children’s rides than ever before, so there is something for everyone to enjoy.

The whole family can ride together on the Ghost Train and Frozen Family Coaster as well as visiting the Crazy Circus Fun House. Don’t miss the Dodgems, ride the 15 metre Ferris Wheel, and brave the infamous Sticky Wall.

This year you will also be able to watch Glasgow’s night sky light up from the heights of the Star Flyer, which is located outside the front of the SEC.

FAMILY FUN

The Inflatable Play area offers eight different inflatable attractions, specifically for the under 12s, so is not to be missed if you have younger members in your party. This area also includes a café which is perfect for adults who want to have a rest and hot drink.

Make sure you try your luck at the fantastic selection of stalls for your chance to win a range of prizes. Put your sporting skills to the test at the Penalty Shoot Out, Basketball or the Kids Crossbows. With everything from Hook-a-Duck and Darts to the classic Coconut Shy, the stalls are perfect for winning that extra Christmas treat.

FUNFAIR TREATS

Your IRN-BRU Carnival visit will be filled with fun as there is so much to get involved in. Come and get your face painted, test yourself on the climbing wall, or see how high you can jump on the bungee trampolines. Don’t forget to take the time to have a game of Bingo or visit the Fortune Teller as well.

You won’t go hungry as a range of Carnival food stalls will be serving up your favourite funfair treats. Look out for fluffy candy floss and tasty hot dogs as well as burgers and chips. The Clydebuilt restaurant on the concourse of the SEC will be also serving up a menu of family favourites.
